10am
Personalised tour of the exclusive Felton Road winery in Bannockburn. Explore one of New Zealand’s premier wineries with a senior member of Felton Road team. Discover the winery, the barrell cellar, the wine library and more, before sitting down to an extensive tasting of the their finest current vintage release wines.
12pm
Lunch at the Historical Bannockburn Hotel. Some of the best food in the district and with over 60 wines available by the glass, you can’t go wrong. Full a la carte and tasting menu available featuring fresh local produce with the option of matching wines. This heritage listed building overlooks the Kawarau River and provides the most authentic Kiwi dining experience in the region.
2pm.
Private tasting at Coxs’ Vineyard, Gibbston. Second generation winegrowers, this teensy-weensy single vineyard boutique producer crafts some of the subregions finest expressions of Pinot Pinot and Pinot Gris.
3.30pm
Private tasting of Valli Wines in the Gibbston Valley. Grant Taylor is regarded one of the best winemakers in the New World. His wines have captured the attention of critiques around the globe by producing Pinot Noirs that are a true reflection of the subregional diversity in Central Otago.
5pm. Return safe and sound back to accommodation.
