Located on the southern cliffs of Waiheke Island, Destiny Bay’s spectacular vineyard lies within an ancient amphitheatre on free draining clay soils with north facing slopes that act as a natural protection barrier from prevailing winds. Vines are lightly cropped as low as 1.8 tonnes an Acre and each berry is hand selected for vinification. Magna Praemia, meaning ‘great rewards’, is Destiny Bay’s flagship.  Featuring all five classic Bordeaux varietals, it represents the future of New World Cabernet dominent blends.
